SkArt is an online resource for St. Kevin's art students
We aim to:
- Provide an online gallery for students to view each others' work
- Provide online resources to enhance our students' creative development
- Provide access to students' course and homework materials
- Encourage the use of traditional and new media for creative endeavour (click HERE to view a selection of TY films)
Facilities
St Kevin's has a very large and well facilitated Art space
Our students have the opportunity to experience a wide range of art processes including:

- History and Appreciation of Art
Extra Curricular Art
Lunch Time Activities:
Junior: Camera Club - run and facilitated by senior members
Senior: Senior Studio Sessions - Art room equipment and facilities are made available to Senior Students every Thursday
Senior: Studio Spaces - available to students preparing portfolios for third level
Art Competitions
Students are encouraged to participate in national and local competitions including:
- Dunlavin Credit Union Art Competition
- Community Games Art Competition
- Texaco Children's Art Competition
- Doodle for Google
- Junk Kouture
- Digital Photography Competitions
Engagement with the community
The art department has a long history of engagement with the local community through the annual credit union competition and participation in the Dunlavin Arts Festival.
